This training is elective but recommended and is aimed at providing management with the tools to support staff in being effective in implementing the ECO IWT Certification program. Training focusses on the practical implementation of policies and procedures to ensure staff support, staff safety, the practical application of emergency response procedures when wildlife or wildlife products are found, who to contact, what operational procedures to follow, what is required, how to preserve evidence and how to effectively manage the entire process of IWT prevention and detection. This training also provides information on what happens after a seizure and how to interact with the various stakeholders that will be involved in this process.
